Snowpatch Spire from the top of Bugaboo Spire, Bugaboo Glacier Provincial Park
Snowpatch Spire is part of the Bugaboos group of mountains in the Purcell Range of British Columbia. In the smaller image Snowpatch Spire is the mountain on the right with the snowpatch (of course!) Bugaboo Spire is on the left and through the col in the middle are the Howser Towers. This is one of the the premier alpine rock climbing ranges in North America. Snowpatch Spire was first climbed in 1940 by Jack Arnold and Raffi Bedayn.
